Depart from Athens 06.30am. and after a short stop at Corinth canal ( a wonder of the world that cuts the mainland Greece off from the Peloponnese Peninsula and is one of the 3 waterways on earth only. The Canal cuts the Isthmus of Corinth in a straight line 6.346 m long. Canal width is 24.60 m at sea level and 21.30 m at bottom level) arrive at Olympia before 11.00 am. Spend 4 hours visiting the 3 museums and exploring the ancient site at Olympia with the help of the literature that we will give you. Depart around 02.30 pm. for the deluxe ALDEMAR Hotel, one of the best hotels in Greece(Open from mid April-mid October). We have arranged for our clients to use the hotel's facilities (restaurants, cafeterias, bars, beach umbrellas and beds etc.) free of charge. You can have a swim, have lunch or relax in the luxurious settings of the "5 stars" hotel before returning to Athens.
From mid October-mid April after finishing from the museums at Olympia we drive for lunch at a village near Olympia before returning to Athens.

The price of the tour depends on the size of the group.

PRICE: € 330.00 up to 3 persons in a taxi /rented private car. The 4th person + € 60.00.
PRICE: € 500.00 up to 5 persons in a minibus. Every extra person + € 50.00.
(If you hire a self driven car, this same trip will cost you: € 250.00)

Our price is valid from 01 Nov. 2008 - 31 March 2009 and includes:

• transportation by air conditioned private car / minibus,

• pick up / drop off from your hotel in Athens

• entrance tickets to the archaeological museum and the site at Olympia,

• english speaking driver,

• use of the facilities at Hotel Aldemar, when it is open, mid April-mid October.

• road tolls and taxes involved.

• A tour guidebook and literature to help you understand & imagine the site of Olympia.

• P.S. If you need the services of a local professional English speaking tour guide at the ancient site and the archaeological museum of Olympia you add € 100.00 euros to the total price.
