TRAVEL FROM ATHENS TO OLYMPIA BY BUS / TRAIN.
(updated February 3, 2011).
Since January 2011 THERE ARE NO MORE trains
from Athens to Pyrgos or v.v. |
We believe that when you visit Greece the three places that must be included in everybody's itinerary are:The Acropolis of Athens, Olympia and Delphi. If you plan to visit Olympia CLICK HERE and see the easy and efficient One Day tour that we suggest.
If you decide to visit Olympia on your own, have in mind that the archaeological museum at Olympia is excellent in contrary to the ancient site which is in a poor condition. Everything is left to your imagination as in most of the structures only the foundations have survived.
