Olympia
- A "unique" two day tour with
a deluxe highlight, designed for the visitors that want
to visit Olympia and have a little time to spare.
Leave Athens 08.00am and after a short stop at
Corinth canal arrive at the deluxe ALDEMAR OLYMPIAN Village
resort,
near Pyrgos (tour highlight),
at 11.30am. Stay as long as you want of the day
at the premises of the hotel, swiming, having
lunch at one of the hotel restaurant and enjoy
your drink at anyone of the hotel bars. Late
afternoon departure for Olympia. Dinner at a
local restaurant and overnight at Olympia.
Next day, after breakfast, meet the tour guide
and follow him to the Olympia archaeological
museum and the adjacent ancient site for a 3
hours tour. After this you are free to visit the
other 2 museums on your own, see the monument of
Pierre de Cubertin or enjoy the peacefull setting
of the area. After lunch, slowly start the return
to Athens.

Argolis
(Mycenae / Nafplio / Epidaurus) & Olympia -
two day tour
The trip includes a
visit to the ancient sites of the Mycenean
civilisation and the visit to Olympia.
Day 1. In the
morning, we drive south along the coastal road of
the Saronic Gulf to Corinth canal (stop). Proceed
to Epidaurus where you will visit the famous
Theatre known for its superior acoustics. Depart
for Nafplio aand after lunch, leave for Mycenae,
visit the ruins, including the Lion's Gate, the
Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. After the visit
we drive to Tripolis and arrive at Olympia to
check into our hotel. Overnight at Olympia.
Day 2. In the morning, explore the Olympia
site and visit the arvaeological museum. There
are another two museums you may visit displaying
the history of the Olympic Games. Afternoon
departure to return to Athens.
