Ancient Corinth / Mycenae / Nafplion & Ancient Olympia - two day tour

Day 1.In the morning, we drive south along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to Corinth canal (stop). Hear about the myth about the four seasons associated with goddess Demeter and her "kore", Persephone, the myths of Thesseus and the bandits and many more Greek myths. Proceed to Ancient Corinth, the wealthy Roman city that St. Paul, visited, lived and preached for nearly two years. Learn and follow the steps of St. Paul in Greece. Continue the tour driving to Mycenae, walk through the Lion's Gate, proceed to the Acropolis with the Palace of Agamemnon and visit the Tomb of Atreus. Learn the myths about Agamemnon, his wife Clytemnestra, Orestes, Iphigenia, Electra and the Trojan war. See the secret gate that Orestes used in order to escape after killing his mother. Overnight at Nafplion, generally accepted as one of the most beautiful Greek cities. Explore the castle of Palamidi and walk down the 975 steps to the city of Nafplion below.
Day 2. After breakfast, start climbing the mountains of Arcadia and via Tripoli and an unforgettable scenical drive, via Karytena, Andritsena and Krestena arrive at Olympia. Take your time and visit the archaeological museum and explore the ancient site of the sanctuary. Run the stadion distance in the stadium, hear about the history of the Olympic Games, learn the principles of the Games and listen to more Greek myths associated with Olympia. There are another two museums that display the history of the Games. In the afternoon start the 4 hours return to Athens.

Olympia - A "unique" two day tour designed for the visitors that want to visit Olympia and have a little time to spare. Leave Athens 08.00am and after a short stop at Corinth canal arrive at the deluxe hotel, ALDEMAR OLYMPIAN Village resort, near Pyrgos at 11.30am. Stay as long as you want of the day at the premises of the hotel, swiming, having lunch at one of the hotel's restaurant and enjoy a drink at the hotel bars. Late afternoon departure for Olympia. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at Olympia.
Next morning, after breakfast, meet the tour guide and follow him to the Olympia archaeological museum and the ancient site for a 3 hours tour. After this you are free to visit the other 2 museums on your own, see the monument of Baron Pierre de Cubertin or enjoy the peacefull setting of the area. After lunch, slowly start the return to Athens.

Pylos & Olympia - two day tour
Day 1. In the morning, depart via the Corinth canal (stop), Tripolis and Kalamata(stop) for Pylos. Early afternoon we drive to Olympia to check into your hotel. Overnight at Olympia.
Day 2. In the morning, explore the Olympia site and visit the archaeological museum. There are another two museums you may visit displaying the history of the Olympic Games. Afternoon departure to return to Athens.
Kalavryta & Olympia - two day tour
Day 1. In the morning, depart via the Corinth canal (stop) to Diakofto. Board the famous "rack & pinion" railway for the ride to Kalavryta. After lunch we visit the "Caves of the lakes" before arriving at Olympia. Overnight at Olympia.
Day 2. In the morning, explore the Olympia site and visit the archaeological museum. There are another two museums you may visit displaying the history of the Olympic Games. Afternoon departure to return to Athens.
